"From your socks"

A washing machine fairy tale

Ulli has disappeared. And Olli is alone.

But socks always come in pairs – right?

What can happen to a washing machine like that?

After a spin cycle, isn't everything the same as before?

And what if...Ulli can't be found?

In a world full of socks and booties,

A sock and a fairy go looking

a great friendship that seems to have been lost.

A puppet theater piece for people ages 5 and up.

"Being and Appearance"

OF INFANT LIGHTS AND DOUBLEGANGERS
Song. Shadow play. Spoken word.

For an evening we move on the border between being and appearance, reality and dream, tradition and today, imagination and reality. We want to immerse ourselves in an in-between world that cannot be rationally grasped - and that is precisely why it has inspired music, stories and poetry at all times. In many of the old, traditional legends from the Bregenzerwald we encounter our shadow sides in mysterious figures, good and evil spirits. And today the addiction to good looks and self-expression seems to be greater than ever - especially in the parallel universe of the Internet and social media. At the same time, we can be connected to each other across all borders through our virtual doppelgangers.

On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Bertolt Brecht and Hanns Eisler (both born in 1898), songs by this congenial duo form the musical focus of the program. In a transdisciplinary performance of music, spoken word and live shadow play, being and seeming combines elements and images of old legends with associations and themes of our present. a sensual experience and a reflection on our abysses and longings at the same time.

“NO MATTER LOCATION”

Insights into the pataphysical execution

A production by the HMDK Stuttgart's puppet theater course

In search of new insights, five researchers move through special spaces in which the boundaries of the world seem to be beyond the laws of nature, changeable and open. In a series of evidentiary experiences on 'pataphysics, the science of imaginary solutions, they make it clear that the definition of space, time and movement is solely a question of point of view. Using unusual angles and manipulating live cameras, the experts become puppet-like subjects of their own experiments in video projections. They climb into perspective traps, calculate calculated errors and find their way through optical illusions, freed from gravity. In a bizarre state of suspension between imagination and facts, they make the ambiguous nature of things and processes visible. The EGALE LAGƎ creates an ironic space in which reality is an illusion and at the same time the illusion is a reality. In the controversial encounter between perception and reality, liberating deviations and facilitating exceptions appear as a reorientation for a welcome change of situation.
