"Der kleine Prinz und der siebte Planet" - The little prince and the seventh planet
"Der kleine Prinz und der siebte Planet"
Based on ‘Le Petit Prince’ by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
While travelling through the universe, the little prince lands on the seventh planet, Earth. He meets the pilot who has made an emergency landing and tells him about B612, the baobabs and his encounter with the geographer.
With a mixture of shadow theatre, two-dimensional live animation, cello sounds, kitschy twinkling stars and a smoking aircraft engine, the little visitor shows us a somewhat different view of the earth.
Will the pilot manage to repair his engine before the little prince's voice fades into the stars?
